BOARD OF DIRECTORS

As a state-wide organization, it is foundational to our mission and critical to our organizational development to have Board of Directors who are grounded in an Arizona-community analysis and bring perspectives from various regions of the state to inform how our work develops.

Currently, our Board of Directors are rooted in lived experiences from Yuma, Tucson, and Phoenix.

Our organizational founders were volunteers, and our current staff all began as volunteers. In 2022, we had sufficient operational resources to begin our transition into paid staff, however, we remain powered by committed volunteers, many of whom have continued dedicating hours of their time to serve Arizona communities even as they have moved out of state.
